Your website is one of the most important assets on which your business and projects are based, so it is essential to ensure that it receives the care that matches it. There is no doubt that when you own a website, you hope that people will find your products and services when they make search queries through search engines.search. Not only that, but you want them to find the most relevant pages for their search queries on your website. Finally, after your page is found in search results, you want them to choose to click on your link in the middle of a list of competitors' links. Here are six factors that every page of your website should have to give you a greater chance of appearing in search results and getting more clicks:

6 Steps to Building an SEO Friendly Web Page

What is off-page SEO? You will not need another guide!

 Unique theme

First, you will need to define a topic for almost every page. Let's say you own a clothing store and you have a specific page on your site dedicated to each type of clothing you sell: tracksuits, dresses, shoes, etc. Each of these pages must have unique content. This does not mean that you cannot create multiple clothing pages. As long as the products and content are unique, you can create whatever pages you think you need. Can create pages for men's, women's and children's sports suits; Or pages for summer dresses, evening dresses, etc.

After identifying a unique topic for each page, it's time to do some keyword research. The latter will be the backbone of how you develop and improve the content on your web page. I recommend reading this article on how to do keyword research to make sure you're targeting the right words on every page before going to the next step.

 Unique title

The title of each web page appears in search results, as well as at the top of the open tab, as shown below in red.

unique address

Each page address must be unique. This helps search engines identify the relevant topic for each page, and also helps users find your site in search results. The title must contain at most 55 characters; If the text exceeds this number of characters, it will appear in the search results. MOZ  SEO  has a great tool to see what your title will look like in search results. So if you are not sure that the title of your page meets the required offer conditions, I recommend that you check this with the URL preview tool involved by  MOZ .

It is recommended to include the keywords you have chosen for the page within the title. Titles are one of the factors that search engines rely on to determine the topic of each page, so it is important to include keywords. Users are in turn more willing to click on your search result if the title accurately describes the content of the page, based on the keywords that were searched. In the event that you cannot include all your keywords in the title, it is necessary to focus on the most important ones according to the ones most in demand by users. It is also advisable to include your brand name in the title, preferably at the end of it.

For example, if you want to type a title for your Women's Tracksuits page, your keywords might be:

• Tracksuits for wome

• Comfortable suits for women

• Summer suits for women

The title of your page could be : Summer Tracksuits (Comfortable) for Women | Brand name

The title includes all key phrase words, in addition to the brand name, and does not exceed the 55-character threshold.

 Header Tags

Each page should have unique header tags. The primary header tag, otherwise known as the H1 tag  , is usually the main title of the page. This title should be large and may be typed in bold to make it stand out. It is important to include keywords in the  H1 tag  because search engines give header tags more weight than the regular text on a page. Each page must have  only one H1 tag  . However, there are other less important but influential header tags that you can use as well ( H2  to  H6 ), the H1 tag is given the   most weight by search engines while the  H6 tag is considered least important. It is only recommended to use the header tags that you feel are necessary. It should be noted that although each page should contain  only one H1 tag  , it can contain  multiple H2  , H3 tags …

As you can see in the following example, the  H1 tag  refers to the headline “Office Supplies.” The latter is the primary focus point of the page and one of the primary keywords. There are two H2 tags   that also contain some keywords. However, its text size is slightly smaller compared to the text of the  H1 tag , and therefore it is less important to search engines.

 Meta Description Unique

A meta description is a small snippet of text that appears under the title at the level of search results, shown below in red.

Meta unique description

Meta descriptions have no effect on ranking in search engines, but they do contribute to CTR. You need to write a compelling description that defines the topic of that page and also includes a call  -to-action . In the example above, one would expect to find an assortment of the latest shoe models on the page. The example also includes an indirect call to action by enticing customers with free shipping and delivery of collectibles to all cities of Saudi Arabia.

 URL structure

URL structure   is important in the process of creating SEO friendly pages. When possible, it's a good idea to make sure that your web page titles are easy to read and contain keywords. Let's look at page 3 of office supplies as an example. The website address is:  https://www.gosafeguard.com/office-supplies/ . The URL should consist   of lowercase words separated by beams, as we saw in the Office Supplies example. And as you go deeper into the site, you must continue to follow the same pattern. For example, if you click on the Toner Cartridges page from the Office Supplies page, the URL for that page will be   https://www.gosafeguard.com/office-supplies/toner-cartridges/ . Toner cartridges is a subfolder of office supplies.

Alt tags for images and file names

Since search engines cannot read images, it is important to include text for each image in the  HTML  code. The latter are called alternate tags for images. Give each image a unique alt tag that accurately describes the subject of the image, and if possible, include keywords. The actual image file name must also include keywords. Search engines pay close attention to both image alt tags and file names to determine the subject matter of an image field. Similar to the  URL structure , it is best to use beams (instead of space spaces) between each word of the image file name.

When you use each of these factors across the web pages of your site, you can be sure that you are on the right path to improving search engine rankings for each page of your site. Thus, doubling the number of visitors on the short article, and ensuring permanent customers or surfers at the medium and long-term level.
